We operate from a foundation of faith, faith that engages with the problems and suffering in our world.  Our values come from our understanding of the texts of the Bible and from observing life in communities around the world.

1. God ordained work.
   He intends that men and women be engaged in productive, dignified jobs.

2. Gainful employment produces much good, 
   such as increased self worth, better health and education for kids, stronger families and communities, more local stability and peace, and stronger local institutions.

3. Business people are gifted in leadership, commerce, and risk-taking.
   They honor God by exercising those gifts and operating for-profit enterprises.

4. Business people should be full partners in God's redemptive mission for our broken world.
   We need all of the abilities, resources, courage, and experience that business people can muster.

5. A business operated with high ethics will maximize its transformative power when its economic impact is integrated with community initiatives that deal with health, education, justice concerns, and people's spiritual condition.

6. We work with a wide range of partners --
   businesses, universities, and government agencies.  We also partner with local churches because of the tremendous potential they have as agents of change in their communities.
   

7. We offer job creation to all communities,
   regardless of race, creed, national identity, or political affiliation.  We do, however, admit to a bias in favor of the most marginalized and powerless.
