Business Rebuilding

After Typhoon Haiyan hit the Philippines in November, 2013, T-Ventures Screen shot 2015-03-06 at 10.50.26 PMimmediately began working with local leaders to help rebuild businesses that had been destroyed by the typhoon. Hundreds of small family businesses have been relaunched.

The effort has been a good example of coordination of aid, community development, business, and church work. Our efforts have now transitioned from rebuilding to long term business development.

Missional Business Centers

A T-Ventures team member has launched long term business development efforts, in partnership with Missional Business Centers. We are helping MBC expand to the central, typhoon-hit region.  This effort is being led by a local business man/pastor and is our next step after the business rebuilding effort.

Besides working with emerging entrepreneurs in the area, we are also incorporating women being taken out of human trafficking.
